Chris’ sound emerged from the very different worlds of his parents, each born in Kingston – his father in Kingston, Jamaica and his mother in Kingston, Canada. This dual heritage melds into his work, blending influences of the R&B, reggae, and disco records of his father, along with the Canadian pop and rock staples favoured by his mom.
