Kölsch's innovative music blends melody and emotion and rewrites #techno's rulebook.
His diverse background in Christiania and summers in Germany fuel his production inspiration. The albums such as 1977, 1983, and 1989 are products of "reminiscing about what shaped me as a kid" and being about the "imaginary world that I would spend days in." Kompakt, he says, is his "perfect label."
Among his iconic tracks, Loreley, Opa, and Goldfisch shine. He has worked with artists such as Coldplay, Imogen Heap, London Grammar, and Tiga.
Kölsch will evoke emotions and tell stories at #ROXYprague on Saturday 23/9.
