Indie folk band Daughter will come back to Prague with a new album after their sold out show at Rock Café three years ago.
They will perform on October 6th 2016 at Roxy in Prague. Ticket price is 690 Kč and the special presale starts on Thursday, July 14th at 10 am via fource.cz. General presale will be launched a day later on Friday, July 15th at 10 am via fource.cz, GoOut.cz and Ticketpro. Originally a solo project of singer Elena Tonra was a success right after their debut album If You Leave released in 2013. It reached #4 in the UK Indie Album Chart, not only for the emotional melodies and Elena's unique vocals. This January, they released second record Not to Disappear and were compared to Massive Attack, PJ Harvey or The Cure. Both albums were released on the prestigious label 4AD, same as for the legendary Pixies or Bon Iver. “Expressing your emotions isn’t a weakness but a real strength,” says Tonra. “I think with this new album, there’s less hiding. I used to hide a lot of my themes in poetry. But now, there’s no veil."
