Event by Rock For People

Unstoppable rebels Bloodywood are coming to rock Prague.

Bloodywood from New Delhi, India, started in 2016 as a not-so-serious project. However, they are currently one of the hottest bands on the metal scene. They bring everything to their music that is needed these days - aggression, global ideas, visionary views, politically correct behaviour and advocacy for minorities from all walks of life. The band around the three heads Jayant Bhadula, Karan Katiyar and Raoul Kerr have managed to break into the international charts on their own and garnered crowds of fans all over the world.

The musicians are involved in social projects and animal conservation, among other things, and use traditional Indian instruments such as the tabla, dhol and bamboo flute. They mix it up with gritty thrash metal, urban rap vocals (English/Hindi/Punjabi) and rock-hard grooves. This makes for a proper riot that sounds like an open street brawl at times, and despite the regional references, it's totally international. Especially when the restrained sounds find their place on "Rakshak" (Hindi for "protector"), as heard on the tracks "Zanjeero Se" and "Jee Veerey".
